Aer Lingus announced the launch of Ireland’s first direct flight from Dublin to Nashville, Tennessee, today, Friday, October 4.

The new route will commence on April 12, 2025 and will operate four times weekly on Aer Lingus’ new state-of-the-art Airbus A321XLR aircraft.

The journey time from Dublin to Nashville is just over nine hours, while the return to Dublin is just over eight hours.

The new Dublin – Nashville route will operate almost year-round, with a brief six-week suspension in January and February.

Customers flying with Aer Lingus to Nashville or any other North American destination can avail of Dublin Airport’s US Pre-Clearance facility. The service allows customers to pre-clear all US immigration and customs formalities, meaning you’re effectively on US soil once you’re cleared.

Tickets for Aer Lingus’ Dublin to Nashville flights go on sale today, October 4. Flights start from €499 return including taxes and charges.

Aer Lingus notes that Nashville is home to some of the most celebrated music venues and institutions in the world, including the Grand Ole Opry, Music Row, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and Ryman Auditorium.

Beyond its musical heritage, Nashville is one of the fastest-growing cities in the US, with a metro population of 2.4 million people. While music may be its soul, industries such as fashion, healthcare, finance, and automotive have made it a thriving economic hub.

Aer Lingus says its new direct connections will allow for stronger economic ties and business travel between Ireland, Nashville, and the wider state of Tennessee where there are a number of economic synergies.

As well as offering a direct connection between Ireland and Nashville, Aer Lingus also offers seamless connections through Dublin to 22 destinations across Europe, including London, Edinburgh, Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, Manchester, and Berlin.

Whether traveling to Nashville for its iconic music scene, to explore its vibrant cultural landmarks, or for business, Aer Lingus invites passengers to experience the soul of the South.
