The flights will start from €499 for return economy tickets on Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

This aircraft is the largest in their fleet with 30 business seats and 287 economy seats.

Flights will run to and from the bucket-list destination between October 25, 2024 and April 29, 2025.

The non-stop service will depart Dublin Airport at 3.20pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and will arrive into the US state at 5.50pm local time.

And return Aer Lingus flights depart back to Dublin at 7.30pm, with both flights to and from non-stop.

The flight will take between 10 and 11 hours between Irish soil and the sparkling lights of Las Vegas.

Las Vegas is well known for its casinos, entertainment, nightlife and shopping.

There are also plenty of luxury hotels dotted across the hot spot to lap up some luxury while you’re there.

And if you’re not big on the gambling or want to opt for a family style get away there are plenty of non gaming hotels in Las Vegas.

There are also great activities such as open-top bus tours, museums and theme parks.

Nevada Travel said they are “thrilled” Irish travellers will get to experience the “sports and entertainment capital” for the “first time”.

CEO Rafael Villanueva said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Aer Lingus’ new direct service, which opens the door for Irish travellers to explore the countless experiences Nevada has to offer.

“Our state is full of surprises, from exciting new developments and attractions to our 10 themed road trips, each showcasing the wide-open wonder of Nevada.

“Whether visitors are drawn to art and culture, intrigued by alien lore, or eager to experience the Wild West spirit in our rural towns, there’s a road trip here for everyone.

“We look forward to welcoming a new wave of Irish travellers to ‘Get a Little Out There’ and discover Nevada’s offbeat and unforgettable adventures.”

WIDER NEVADA

Beyond the famous lore of sin city there is much more the state of Nevada has to offer.

Red Rock Canyon is just a 17 minute drive from the lights of Las Vegas but will give you an entirely different experience of the state.

It features scenic driving routes, walking trails and wildlife.

There is also the incredible Hoover Dam architecture nestled between Nevada and Arizona.

And of course the Valley of Fire State Park has breathtaking red sandstone formations in a desert oasis.
