Police are at Dublin Airport responding to an incident that began Sunday afternoon, impacting traffic around the airport.
Shortly after 1 PM, An Garda Síochána, the national police service of Ireland, alerted the public about the situation on social media. Police stated, “Traffic Update Dublin: Gardaí at Dublin Airport are currently at scene of an ongoing incident and wish to advise that traffic in the area is affected.”
Details about the nature of the incident remain limited. Dublin Airport has not released any information, and the police statement has been removed from social media.
The Irish Mirror reported that they have contacted both An Garda Síochána and the Dublin Airport Authority (daa) for further information.
