On-loan Waterford FC captain Barry Baggley has parted ways with the Fleetwood Town group and has joined SSE Airtricity Premier Division side St. Patrick’s Athletic on a multi-year deal.
Baggley, who came to the club on loan from Fleetwood Town, played in the team that won promotion back to the Premier Division where he went onto play 18 times for the club last season.
The 22-year-old midfielder missed a serious part of the 2024 season after suffering injury at Dundalk where there was a worry at one stage to whether or not he would be able to play again.
He was a real fans’ favourite and his departure from the club will be a massive one.
