Richard Sloan puffs out his cheeks as he gazes around the vast 135,000 sq ft facility that Sonas Bathrooms calls home. The bathroom equipment supplier he now leads has come a long way since he first joined.

The 49-year-old CEO of Sonas started his career with the company in 2003 when it was based in a 13,500 sq ft warehouse a few kilometres up the road with about 20 staff and sales of around €3m. Now, the company employs 110 people and had sales last year of over €54.8m – marking it out as a leader in the bathroom supply space in Ireland.
