Bellator Champions Series: Dublin Betting Analysis
For these five main card bouts, Bellator fight predictions are pretty difficult to make. This is a step up from the last several years of Bellator events where it was hard to find good matchmaking that would give valuable odds for sports bettors.
There are only two big betting favorites (Kelly and Hughes) on this Bellator Dublin main card betting preview and those are pretty straightforward and easy to provide a Bellator fight analysis for.
Kelly is an impressive Irish prospect who’s undefeated, going up against a regional-level French prospect. Hughes is also an impressive Irish fighter who is one of the best fighters in the entire UK MMA scene, coming off a Cage Warriors championship run. These are both very favorable matchups for two fan-favorites in Dublin.
The last Irish fighter on the main card is MMA veteran Sinead Kavanagh. She is the underdog against a tough Arlene Blencowe–a rematch of a 2017 Bellator bout in which Blencowe got her hand raised in a split decision.
The closest Bellator betting odds this weekend is this main card bout between Norbert Novenyi and Dalton Rosta in the middleweight division. Rosta is an impressive American fighter who trains out of the American Top Team and is a very skilled wrestler. Novenyi is also a Bellator prospect with a ton of talent. This is an even matchup and should be a great fight for fans to enjoy.
Jackson vs Kuramagomedov is the main event and it’s for the Bellator welterweight title. This is a great fight as we see Jackson grow into a great world champion and defend his belt, while one of the best prospects in the world steps up to challenge for his first major organization world title.
Bellator Champions Series: Dublin Betting Trends
The Bellator results for the last Champions Series events had a few interesting trends. First, the fighters fighting in their own country (France) went 3-2 on the night. The Dublin crowd will be rowdy and support their own fighters very well, which can be an advantage.
Another trend is that betting favorites went 9-1 at the last Champions Series event in France. This is on par with most Bellator events, but the matchmaking is trending in the right direction to have closer fights and more competitive performances for the most talented fighters.
These Bellator betting tips shouldn’t be taken as a sure thing, since the sport of MMA is so unpredictable. Betting trends don’t work as well in mixed martial arts as they do in other major team sports.
The key is to pay attention to the Bellator betting odds and make your own decision on bets based on the Bellator fight predictions you look at.

Bellator Champions Series: Dublin Betting Picks
Hope you enjoyed our Bellator Dublin Main Card betting preview and good luck with your MMA picks and parlays!
Jason Jackson (-210) vs Ramazan Kuramagomedov (+170)
We are taking Jackson to remain the Bellator welterweight champion with a win against a tough Kuramagomedov. Jackson trains out of an incredible gym at Kill Cliff FC and will be prepared for the wrestling attack. His all-around skill set is developing into something great and he will show he is on a different level than a dominant regional fighter.
Paul Hughes (-625) vs Bobby King (+450)
In the co-main event, we are taking Paul Hughes to get the job done in spectacular fashion. He is an elite Irish fighter who will feel like “the people’s main event” on Saturday. The atmosphere and energy from the 3Arena crowd will push him to dominate.
Sinead Kavanagh (+130) vs. Arlene Blencowe (-160)
Take Kavanagh to make the adjustments and beat Blencowe this time around. She is out of her prime, but this is a great opportunity to take an underdog as she will also be pushed by the Irish crowd.
Norbert Novenyi (-115) vs. Dalton Rosta (-115)
This is a coin-flip fight with even odds. We are taking Novenyi to get his hand raised. They both match up evenly with wrestling ability and power, but we are giving the advantage to Novenyi do to less travel and more ways to win.
Darragh Kelly (-1000) vs. Mathias Poiron (+700)
In a straightforward pick, we are taking the Irish prospect Darragh Kelly to continue his trek to potential stardom. He is very talented and will ignite this Dublin crowd to start the main card of the event.
