A Kilkenny woman has taken over as President of Dublin Chamber, becoming its first-ever Kilkenny president.
Siobhan O’Shea kicked off her Chamber presidency last week at an AGM dinner attended by over 600 leading business reps and senior members of Government.
Dublin Chamber’s 135th President, Ms O’Shea is Director of Scaled Business Success (EMEA/APAC) for US multinational Indeed, the world’s number one job site with 300 millino unique visitors every month.
She has served on Dublin Chamber’s Council since her election in 2018 before joining the Board of Directors in 2019. She sits on the Audit & Risk and Remuneration Sub-committees and has chaired the Chamber’s Labour Taskforce.
Ms O’Shea is also a Board Member of State Agency SOLAS, the Further Education and Training Authority in Ireland. She previously served as Vice President and Board Member of the Employment & Recruitment Federation and Non-Executive Director of Chambers Ireland, the Open Doors Initiative and Teenline (now merged into ISPCC).
Her leadership track record spans 25 years in the United States and Ireland including recent senior roles with global organisations Cpl and Morgan McKinley. She is a frequent speaker and brand ambassador on workplace and labour market trends, the future of work and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.She is a qualified Chartered Director and Executive Coach, having graduated from UCD with a Bachelor of Commerce.
