The 22-year-old Irishman has been unable to break back into the first team picture since returning from a cruciate ligament tear picked up on loan at Doncaster Rovers at the start of last year.
Carty had a successful loan spell with St Pat’s in 2022/23, having made his senior debut for the Whites that same season, scoring at Tranmere Rovers, early in their run to the Papa Johns Trophy final.
The former Wolves striker had been tipped for a big future when he was sent out to League Two last term but the injury set back his progress.
Carty has returned for the B Team but with his contract up in June, he is keen to play regular senior football. Wanderers will allow him to leave for a small fee, with sell-ons.
