Following his shock appointment as U.S. Ryder Cup Captain last month, Keegan Bradley continues to break the mould as he announces his second vice-captain.
Webb Simpson, announced shortly after Bradley took the reigns, was the first appointment and now Bradley Brandt Snedeker has been added to the management team that will look to be the brains behind the United States wrestling the cup back having lost it to Europe at Marco Simone Golf Club in Rome last year.
“As I’ve started preparing for the 2025 Ryder Cup, I quickly realized that Brandt was someone I wanted by my side,” Bradley said.
“Having competed in two Ryder Cups, including a stellar individual performance in 2016, Brandt’s experience and insight will surely be beneficial to our team in the months ahead.”
43-year-old Snedeker made his Ryder Cup debut at Medinah in 2012 and got his first taste of Ryder Cup victory at Hazeltine in 2016 in his second appearance.
The nine-time PGA Tour winner was the only American to win all of his matches in the 2016 success, finishing the week with a 3-0-0 record.
“I am so grateful to Keegan and the PGA of America for giving me the opportunity to represent my country in the role of vice captain,” he said.
“The Ryder Cup is unlike anything in our sport, and I hope to bring the passion and pride to help Keegan deliver his vision of what a Ryder Cup in New York should look like.
“I am so excited to serve alongside my good friend Webb and know we will do everything in our power to help Keegan and the players be ready for a great competition next September at Bethpage Black.”
