Marie Corry has been appointed as a non-executive director on the board of Aon Ireland, the global professional services firm. She has over 40 years of experience in finance leadership and governance in Ireland, with considerable success in managing change and driving growth. She was previously director of finance at Allianz for over 15 years, leading finance, actuarial, risk, and compliance functions across the business. She was a director on the board of Allianz until 2020. Marie brings extensive insurance experience to the Aon board. She will bring an objective and impartial viewpoint to the deliberations of the board and help enhance governance.

Lynn McLaughlin has been appointed as general manager with Conrad Dublin. She brings 30 years of luxury hotel sector experience, and joins from her prior role as GM at the Gibson Hotel, where she led the hotel through a comprehensive refurbishment. She previously oversaw the opening of the first new-build Clayton Hotel. Before that, she was GM at the Clayton Hotel Charlemont, and the Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport, where she project managed the rebranding and refurbishment. She was also acting head of sales and marketing at Dalata Hotel Group. Originally from Paisley, Scotland, Lynn’s appointment marks a new chapter for Conrad Dublin.

Daire Keating has been appointed as chief commercial officer with the energy transition company Pinergy, a supplier of green electricity and smart energy solutions, including solar installations, energy measurement and EV charging infrastructure. Daire will lead the commercial development of Pinergy, which is entering a new growth phase in its evolution. Daire previously worked with the team in DCC plc for over 13 years, where he held several senior finance positions, and more recently as the managing director of mobility at DCC Energy. Previously, he worked for CRH plc for three years. Daire is a fellow of the Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Ashley Fagan has been appointed as global head of financial institutions with financial services group Legal & General, joining the distribution leadership team within the asset management division, based in London. She will drive relationships in the US, the UK, Europe and Asia. Ashley joins from Amundi, where she was head of global strategic clients, distribution and wealth. She spent ten years with BlackRock, leading distribution efforts for iShares ETF and Index Investing. She started her career in investment banking in Canada, then worked in structured credit CDO/CLO distribution at Barclays Investment Bank in the UK. Ashley is a CFA charterholder.

Ross Millaney has joined Irish-owned architectural practice Argo Development Studio as its new Dublin studio director and EMEA design lead. Ross will lead EMEA operations from Dublin, managing teams in the firm’s offices in the Caribbean, New York and Nanjing, China. He will also target new clients in hospitality, commercial, aviation, education and residential, growing business and billings. An MRIAI architect with 17 years’ experience in Ireland, USA and the Caribbean, Ross holds a degree in Architecture from TUD and a diploma in Architecture from UCD. He has worked with Scott Tallon Walker architects and was formerly with Henry J Lyons Architects.

Nora Harrington has been appointed as head of finance at software firm Ardanis. Leading the firm’s financial management, control and overseeing compliance and governance, she will provide support to the management team by ensuring all finance processes, tools and people deliver finance insights including budgeting and forecasting and analysis of performance to these plans. She was previously financial accountant at Europ Assistance for three years and before that she was financial accountant at Northern Trust Ireland for five years. Nora has over ten years of experience as a chartered accountant. She holds a BComm from UCC and is an ACCA chartered accountant.
