Casement Park has been lying empty

Casement Park has been neglected since its gates shut in 2013, having been a central venue for Gaelic games in Belfast for six decades. Plans to redevelop and reopen the stadium have met with repeated obstacles, with the latest set-back casting doubt on it being ready in time for the 2028 Euros.
