CEO of the craft beer company Quincey Fennelly on how a little stardust from Hozier and Bono provided a boost – and why he has ‘150pc’ belief in the brand’s ability to grow in years ahead
The smell of brewing beer fills the air as Quincey Fennelly, co-founder of Wicklow Wolf Brewing Company, walks between huge metal tanks where his firm makes its lagers, ales, and stouts.
Staff are putting in the hard yards at the Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow, brewery. They are pulling huge pallets of aluminium cans out onto the floor for filling as others brew another batch of the company’s beers, which include Elevation Pale Ale, Sugarloaf Juicy IPA, and Arcadia Lager. Fennelly is among those putting in a shift, unafraid of getting stuck into the day’s work ahead.
