Coldplay and friends deliver surprise performance for fans on Dublin’s Grafton Street

Coldplay fans have been treated to an early surprise with Chris Martin making an appearance on Grafton Street on Wednesday evening. A huge crowd began to gather on Grafton Street when rumours began to spread that an appearance could be in store.

Martin was joined by Nigerian singer Burna Boy, Argentine singer Tini, Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna and English rapper Little Simz, who all feature on Coldplay’s new single We Pray. The group played the song five times together before departing.

There was a heavy garda presence and a video crew on hand to capture the performance. The performance is set to be used for the song’s music video.
