The departure of Tyrone’s 2021 All-Ireland-winning joint-managers Brian Dooher and Feargal Logan could have a domino effect on other management teams and vacancies around the country in an off-season of upheaval.
Dooher and Logan became the ninth football manager, or management team in their case – following Niall Carew (Carlow), Paul Kelly (Tipperary), Andy Moran (Leitrim), Vinny Corey (Monaghan), Glenn Ryan (Kildare), Paddy Christie (Longford), Dessie Dolan (Westmeath) and Colm O’Rourke (Meath) – to leave their roles since their championship campaign concluded, while there is also Mickey Harte’s appointment as a joint-manager in Offaly to partner the outgoing Declan Kelly to factor in.
