A new lawsuit has been filed by an anonymous woman who claims McGregor assaulted her at Kaseya Center on June 9, 2023. The lawsuit also names the Miami Heat considering that the alleged assault occurred at the team’s home stadium during the 2023 NBA Finals.

According to a report from the New York Post, “This lawsuit accuses McGregor of battery and the arena with gross negligence in keeping a safe atmosphere by continuing to serve the boxer alcoholic beverages after he was allegedly intoxicated.”

“The Miami Heat, who hosted the Finals game on June 9, was also named as a defendant in the lawsuit for allegedly over-serving the Dublin, Ireland native. Additionally, Basketball Properties LLC, which operates the Heat’s Kaseya Center, is listed as a defendant.”

McGregor is accused of leading the anonymous woman to a bathroom, where a video showcased him keeping the woman from leaving with security blocking the door. The initial video showcased the event, and was provided by TMZ.

According to the lawsuit based on the situation in question, McGregor “attempted to forcefully place his unprotected penis into Jane Doe’s mouth without her consent.”

“The woman is looking for past and future medical treatment compensatory damages worth more than $75,000 and litigation costs, along with other relief,” the report indicates.

McGregor could find himself in court again, facing his second sexual assault lawsuit. As stated, he was found liable for a situation that occurred at the Beacon Hotel in Dublin on December 9, 2018.

Nikita Hand was the accuser and is set to be paid more than €248,000 in damages from McGregor. Naturally, the Irish UFC star has appealed the decision, but he is waiting for another court date or denial to move forward on that case.

McGregor is now facing this new lawsuit and is in a far bigger world of trouble with the Heat being linked to him.

The team is being accused of overserving McGregor alcoholic drinks, leading to the assault. The lawsuit indicates the danger the over-serving of alcohol played in the alleged situation.

“The special treatment of [McGregor] by allowing him to pour his own alcoholic drinks as well as the failure to cut [McGregor]’s access to alcoholic beverages off after he was overserved demonstrates a conscious disregard for the safety patrons similarly situated to and including [the plaintiff],” the lawsuit reads.

So far, McGregor has not offered a comment on the situation.
