In preparation, the Dublin City Council will be closing a number of carparks.
Local Green Party rep and Deputy Lord Mayor Cllr Donna Cooney said: “We’ve only got a Yellow Wind Warning in place here so far, but we are coinciding with a very high tide, so that is our main concern around the coast and the Liffey. So, the boardwallks have been closed, the carparks have been closed in Sandymount and Clontarf.”
In preparation for storm Ashley and predicted high tides, Dublin City Council has closed the carparks at Clontarf and will also be closing the boardwalk at Eden Quay, the Lower Dodder flood gates and the car parks at Sandymount. Our staff will monitor this event until it subsides
