Kirby Sweepstake winner Knockeen Dazzler made a triumphant return to Limerick to land his heat in the opening round of the Willwego.com Irish St. Ledger last Saturday night. Daniel O Rahilly’s kennel star stopped the watch in 29.72 while Timmy Carmody’s Carmac King posted an identical time when winning his heat having showed tremendous pace from halfway. Wily veteran Sogna In Grande was also in the winner’s circle when producing a trap to line victory in 29.88 for Jack Kennelly and the Swedish House Party Syndicate. The action continues at Limerick next Saturday evening.
