You don’t need the luck of the Irish to score this low-cost price.

Flights from Vancouver to Dublin, Ireland are a steal on a few dates in 2024 and early 2025. 

Travellers can get one-way tickets from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Dublin Airport (DUB) at around $300, although they include one stopover.

For example, a WestJet flight departing Vancouver on Saturday, Oct. 26 stops at Calgary International Airport (YYC) en route to Dublin and costs $294 including all taxes and fees (see slide two).

Travellers must book this trip with Kiwi on two separate tickets to get the low-cost price. Otherwise, the ticket costs $343 directly with WestJet.

Round-trip flight options from Vancouver to Dublin, Ireland

Round-trip departures from Vancouver to Ireland remain elevated through mid-November, with prices starting over $1,000. They drop down as low as $666 for return trips from Nov. 15 through Dec. 5. After this time, prices soar over $1,500 through the holidays. 

Prices on return trips drop around Jan. 8, 2025, remaining low through February and elevating only slightly in March. 

For instance, a flight departing Vancouver on Thursday, Jan. 16 stops at Toronto Lester B Pearson Airport (YYZ) before arriving in Dublin the following day. The return flight departs Dublin on Thursday, Jan. 23 and stops in Toronto before arriving in Vancouver.

Air Canada handles the Canadian portions of the trip (YVR to YYZ/YYZ to YVR), while Aer Lingus flies the overseas components (YYZ to DUB/DUB to YVR). The total cost of the ticket, including all taxes and fees, is $662. 

Located three hours from Dublin, the Irish capital, the stunning Cliffs of Moher is Ireland’s most visited tourist attraction. These spectacular cliffs rise an incredible 702 feet at their highest point, just north of O’Brien’s Tower. Many people spend half a day viewing the majestic rock faces.
