Global sports retailer Decathlon will open its third store in Ireland in the restored Clerys Quarter on O’Connell Street in Dublin this Friday 28 June.

Decathlon opened its first store in Ballymun in Dublin in 2020 and its second in Limerick in 2023.

The sports retailer secured a long-term partnership for a 30-year agreement in Clerys Quarter and the new store will create over 50 jobs.

The new store spans two levels with a floor area of over 2,200 square metres.

Elena Pecos, CEO at Decathlon Ireland, said the company was thrilled to be opening its third store in Ireland this week.

“Clerys holds a special place in the hearts of many Irish people, and we are delighted and honoured to become a part of this legacy,” she said.

“Our commitment goes beyond offering sports products; it extends to creating a community hub where the people of Dublin can continue to build their active lifestyles and create new memories for generations to come,” she added.
