The body of a man has been discovered at a recycling centre in Dublin.

Gardaí (Irish police) are currently at the scene of Panda Recycling Centre, Ballymount, after the body was found at about 6:40 local time on Friday.

Gardaí said the man’s body was examined at the scene and has now been taken to Dublin City Mortuary where a state post-mortem examination will take place.

Gardai said the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation.

The scene remains preserved and will be examined by Garda Technical Bureau.

Gardaí said no further information is available at this time.
