All the big names at Comedy Festival

The Dún Laoghaire Comedy Festival is back for its third year and bigger, better, and funnier than ever from tonight November 7-10.

The festival features over 50 comedians performing 26 unique and hilarious shows. They’ll perform in various venues across Dún Laoghaire from November 7th to 10th. The diverse lineup brings together a mix of local & international comedians, both well-established & soon-to-be, in one of Ireland’s biggest comedy festivals.

Dylan Moran, Emma Doran, Ardal O’Hanlon, and Enya Martin are some of the many house-hold names coming to our sea-kissed town. For a show that’s bang for your buck, catch six headliner acts performing in our ALL-STAR show, including names such as David McSavage and Al Porter.

Award-winning British comedians such as Phil Kay and Simon Munnery perform alongside our own local comedy legend, Kevin Gildea (that wonderful fellow from the book shop). For a show with an all-female lineup check out Killer Woman. Candlelit Tales is storytelling with a comedy twist.

Owen Colgan from The Hardy Bucks is back with a brand new show and 3 Bucks Left join the festival for the first time. Paddy Cullivan’s got a show for the insightful audience member, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Ireland. If you want to see something completely different, check out South Africa’s “First Lady Comedian” Thenjiwe’s show, The Mandela Effect.

There are several shows suitable for children such as Improvised Stories from Lebanon’s funny storyteller, Raffi Feghali, Burkey’s Bingo Family Show, and Science Magic, Messy Mayhem. However, you won’t want to bring the kids to the Inappropriate Tea Party (for adults only).

Want something different? Check out The Great Big Small Screen Quiz  by WOMP or Alcoholics Unanimous, where comedians discuss addiction.

We are proud to bring this diverse and wonderful lineup together at the Dún Laoghaire Comedy Festival, and hope it brings joy to all those who attend!
