Emergency services attend bus crash on Dublin’s Dame Street

Delays are expected around Dame Street and Temple Bar as emergency services are attending the scene of a bus crash.

The crash happened just before the junction of Dame Street and Parliament Street at 3.30pm today.

A spokesperson from An Garda Síochana said: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision on the junction of Dame Street and Parliament Street in Dublin 2.

“A bus collided with a street pole at approximately 3.30pm this afternoon, Friday, January 10.

“The male driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, is being conveyed to hospital. No other injuries were reported.

“Local diversions are in place. No further information is available at this time.”
