Some of Ireland’s most beloved celebrities, including Maia Dunphy, Glenda Gilson, Lorraine Keane and Elaine Crowley, gathered for an exclusive Emirates x VOYA lunch event at Ariel House in Dublin 4.
This highly anticipated event brought together a dazzling mix of guests to celebrate the expansion of the partnership between Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, and VOYA, the Irish brand renowned for its luxury products.
The event marked a significant milestone in the collaboration between Emirates and VOYA. This partnership, which began with VOYA providing luxury beauty and wellness products for Emirates’ First and Business Class passengers and lounges, has now reached new heights with the launch of VOYA’s first-ever Eau de Toilette fragrances. These exclusive scents, crafted specifically for Emirates, symbolise a remarkable achievement for the small Sligo-based brand founded by husband-and-wife team Mark and Kira Walton. This new launch not only cements but further expands VOYA’s place in the world of luxury, showcasing how a local Irish brand has made a significant impact on a global scale.
The event, set against the elegant backdrop of Ariel House in leafy Ballsbridge, saw guests including Triona McCarthy, Lorraine Keane, Holly Carpenter, Louise Cooney, Thalia Heffernan, and Dominique Nugent joining the elegant festivities. Guests were treated to a luxurious afternoon of fine dining and a first look at VOYA’s exclusive Eau de Toilette fragrances. The fragrance for men features a heady blend of bergamot, pepper, and white florals, offering a smooth, spicy aroma that evokes calm and sophistication. The more feminine scent combines delicate notes of honeysuckle, neroli, and citrus, reflecting the fresh, uplifting spirit of the Irish coast. The event decor subtly represented both brands, with red roses symbolising Emirates, while elements such as green foliage and seaweed print napkins reflected VOYA and its organic Irish seaweed roots.
The new fragrances were a hit among the attendees. Pamela Laird and Audrey Hamilton were spotted spritzing the female scent on themselves, praising its refreshing and uplifting blend of citrus and floral notes, calling it “the perfect blend of Ireland meets the middle east.” Meanwhile, Irish men’s fashion personality Rob Kenny showcased his love for the men’s version, describing it as “a refined yet bold choice that perfectly complements the modern man’s style.”
With its blend of high-profile press and celebrity guests, a stunning venue, and the celebration of a unique cross-cultural partnership, the Emirates x VOYA lunch event was a standout occasion in Dublin’s social calendar. The event perfectly combined luxury and elegance, setting a new benchmark for exclusive gatherings in the city.
