Popular clothing and homewear brand Arket is set to open in Dublin this year.
The brand is part of H&M group along with Cos and & Other Stories which also have outlets in Dublin city centre.
The H&M parent company is launching an Arket store at the junction of Dawson Street and Nassau Street later this year.
It will join other a host of other international retail outlets in the busy shopping quarter including Sweaty Betty, the Disney Store, and Space NK.
According to their website: “Arket is a modern-day market and lifestyle destination offering essential products for men, women, children, and the home.
“The wide assortment of fashion, food, scents, beauty, and functional home items is curated to simplify good choices and provide inspiration for a more beautiful everyday life.
“Our shared mission is to democratise quality and make sustainable design accessible to more people. With a circular approach and a high level of transparency into our processes, we also want to drive forward positive change in the fashion and design industry.”
It is understood to have agreed a 10-year lease for 1,021sq m (11,000sq ft) of space across the ground- and first-floor levels of Grafton Place, according to the Irish Times.
This comes after luxury sportswear brand Castore, is also opening in the area. The store, founded by Thomas Beahon, is opening its doors today.
The news of Arket’s opening comes as the largest H&M store in Dublin is due to open in the long awaited Clerys Quarter this spring.
