First Look – Steve Coogan to star in Kubrick’s Dr Strangelove
Stanley Kubrick’s iconic Dr Strangelove is coming to Dublin next February with Steve Coogan starring in a number of roles for the production.
Kubrick’s timeless production will have it’s Irish premiere at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from February 5 to 22 next year.
Here we have a world exclusive first look and teaser trailer of Coogan in the iconic role made famous by Peter Sellers in the 1964 black comedy about a nuclear crisis.
“The idea of putting Dr Strangelove on stage is daunting,” says Coogan. “A huge responsibility. It’s also an exciting challenge, an opportunity to bring this timeless classic to a new audience.”
