DUBLIN AIRPORT have issued a major warning as a number of flights are expected to be delayed or cancelled today.
The flight disruptions come after Storm Ashley battered Ireland over the weekend.

Dublin Airport officials confirmed that airlines cancelled 81 flights on Sunday as a result of the storm.
Some 39 go-arounds were performed and 34 aircraft opted to divert to other airports.
However, even now that the storm has passed over Ireland, airport bosses have warned there will be further delays and cancellations throughout the day today.
Graeme McQueen, Media Relations Manager at daa, the operator of Dublin Airport issued a warning to passengers travelling today.
In a statement he said: “Sunday was a challenging day at Dublin Airport as winds associated with Storm Ashley made it difficult for some aircraft to land.
“The Dublin Airport team worked closely with airlines and Air Traffic Control throughout the night to facilitate as many delayed flights as possible.
“In total on Sunday, airlines cancelled 81 flights on Sunday, 39 go-arounds were performed and 34 aircraft opted to divert to other airports.
“Winds have eased considerably this morning and our first wave of flights has moved very well.
“However, as a result of Sunday’s disruption at airports across Ireland, the UK and Europe, some knock-on delays today are inevitable as several airlines have aircraft out of position.”
He added: “A small number of flights have already been cancelled by airlines for today.
“Passengers due to fly today are advised to check with their airline for latest updates regarding their flight.”
There are a number of cancelled flights in and out of Dublin Airport this morning, although it is unclear whether all of these are a direct impact of the storm.
FLIGHTS DELAYED
The 11am EI3192 Aer Lingus flight to Liverpool has been delayed by 15 minutes.
The 11.10 KL1138 Klm Royal Dutch Airlines flight to Amsterdam has been delayed until 11.30.
Later on today the FI417 Icelandair 12.15 flight to Reykjavik is delayed as is the LH979 Lufthansa 12.20 flight to Frankfurt.
The 12.30 FR7046 to Malaga is also delayed and the 12.50 Ryanair fight to Faro is delayed too.
And the EI166 1.30pm Aer Lingus flight to London is also delayed.
CANCELLED FLIGHTS
Aer Lingus have cancelled their EI521 flight from Paris into Dublin at 11.50.
The airline have also cancelled their 1.30pm EI403 flight from Rome into Dublin Airport.
The 4.30pm FR7125A Ryanair flight from Lanzarote has also been cancelled.
STORM ASHLEY
Around 16,000 people are still without power this morning following yesterday’s storm with Mayo, Kerry and Galway the worst affected.
And last night the ESB were attempting to restore power to 53,000 impacted homes across Ireland.
According to Met Eireann’s maximum wind gust recordings, Mace Head in Galway followed closely by Belmullet in Mayo were the worst hit areas during the storm.
Both locations reached red level gusts with the Galway location at 137kph and Mayo at 133 kph.
Newport in Mayo was a close third place followed by Knock Airport and Claremorris all reaching orange level gusts.
In the yellow was Roches Point in Cork followed by Finner Camp in Donegal, Malin Head in Donegal, Valentia in Kerry, Shannon Airport in Clare and Dublin Airport.
Parts of Tipperary, Carlow and Wexford also made it to the yellow.
Across the country fallen trees, snagged power lines, spot flooding and traffic lights affected by power outages were the main impacts of Storm Ashley.
