The GAA has announced that All-Ireland final stand tickets will cost €100 while a terrace ticket will be €55.
This amounts to increases of €10 and €5 respectively and represents the first increase since 2019.
Tickets for All-Ireland quarter-finals and semi-finals will also rise by €5, up to €55 for a stand ticket for a semi-final and up to €45 for a quarter-final stand ticket.
The average 10pc increase is part of a ticketing review that has been in the pipeline for some time and also included a ‘three for two’ two deal for the All-Ireland SFC group stage.
The GAA previously pushed the costs of an All-Ireland final ticket up from €80 to €90 in 2019. The previous price rise to that was 2011 when they went from €70 to €80.
In a statement justifying the hike the GAA outlined that revenue generated will help to fund increases in club grants from €3m in 2023 to €4.5m in 2024 with a further increase to €5m in 2025.
The association has also pointed to other discounts through Foireann for Allianz league finals and the upcoming preliminary quarter-finals.
But the latest hike, at a time when footfall to games appears low, will test the loyalty of supporters, especially for quarter-finals and finals.
