The main focus of this weekend’s games will be the second round of the All-Ireland Football series, with some interesting match-ups across the groups.

On Saturday, Donegal will hope their good form under Jim McGuinesses continues when they travel to Cork, who narrowly defeated Clare in the opening round.

After defeat to Dublin, Roscommon host Connacht rivals Mayo, who were comfortable winners over Cavan, who host Dublin.

On Sunday, Meath will be hoping for a response from their defeat to Louth when they host Kerry, while arguably the game of the weekend will see Derry host Armagh, in a repeat of the 2023 Ulster final.

It is also the final weekend of the group stage of the Tailteann Cup.

Kildare, Sligo, Fermanagh and Down are top of the four groups, and a win for the four teams in their respective fixtures would ensure them a place in the quarter-finals.

Second-placed sides, and the three best third-place teams and New York will enter Sunday’s draw for the preliminary quarter-finals.
