The 2024 football season was, for the most part, short on highlights but there were still moments to savour and a vast range of high-quality individual performances.

From the spectacular long-range point-scoring of Paul Conroy and Rian O’Neill to the suffocating defence of Aaron McKay and Barry McCambridge, to the athleticism of half-backs Dylan McHugh, Craig Lennon and Peadar Mogan, and the opportunism of Con O’Callaghan, Oisín Gallen and Darragh Canavan, there was still much to savour.​
