Around 2 kgs of suspected heroin and weapons were found by Gardaí on Friday
Gardaí have seized €280,000 worth of heroin in Dublin 8.
The drugs were found during a search operation at a number of properties in Dublin 8 on Friday afternoon.
The search operation was part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of drugs and criminal activity in the Dublin 2 area.
Assistance was provided by the Armed Support Unit, the Street Crime Unit, the Divisional Crime Task Force and a number of Gardaí attached to Operation Citizen.
A number of offensive weapons were also found during the search.
No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
