Paralympic bronze medallist Orla Comerford said last week’s General Election was her first positive experience of voting, which has previously been a struggle due to her vision impairment.
The Dubliner, who came third in the T13 100-metre final at the Paralympics in Paris earlier this year, has Stargardt’s disease, which is an inherited retinal disease, uncorrectable with glasses.
