Insurance giant Generali has today announced the launch of its brand RedClick in Ireland, following its acquisition of Liberty Insurance’s operations in January of this year.

RedClick said it will provide property and casualty insurance products to its Irish base of 250,000 customers, who already own insurance solutions from its current motor and home offer.

The company has a workforce of over 400 employees across offices in Cavan, Enniskillen and Dublin.

The company said the launch of the RedClick brand in Ireland shows its commitment to expand its footprint in the Irish market.

Generali is one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers with a presence in over 50 countries and a total premium income of €81.5 billion in 2022.

From September 1, Generali has appointed Lorenzo Ioan as the new General Manager for the operations of the company in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

He will oversee the business and represent the company in the local market.

Deputy CEO Insurance of Generali Group, Jaime Anchústegui, said the company was delighted to launch RedClick in the Irish market combining the expertise of its talented local team with the robust capabilities of Generali Group.

“We also welcome the opportunity to deepen our relationships with our existing Ireland-based customers and brokers and are excited to engage with new customers as well as bring renewed competition to the Irish market, shaped by our robust and sustainable business model with the potential to benefit all Irish consumers,” he added.
