The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has confirmed that a man has died following a fatal one-vehicle road collision in Roslea, Co Fermanagh on Sunday night.

A report was received shortly before 10.30pm on Sunday June 16 of a collision involving a motorcycle in the Dernawilt Road area.

Officers attended the scene along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.

The male motorcyclist passed away at the scene.

The deceased has been named locally as Ollie Murphy from Coolnasillagh, Lisnaskea, Fermanagh. Mr Murphy was in his thirties.

Locals said Mr Murphy was “a gentleman and loved motorbikes.”

He is survived by his parents Stephen and Angela and brothers Stephenie, Gregory, Padraig Maurice, Damien and sisters Lisa and Amanda.

No funeral arrangements have been made as yet.

In a statement Inspector Cherith Adair of the PSNI confirmed that ‘’ An investigation to establish the circumstances is now underway.

Members of the Collision Investigation Unit are appealing to anyone who may have any information which may assist, or who may have been travelling in the area at the time and captured any dash-cam or mobile phone footage, to get in touch’’.
