Hedgerows Ireland will stage a peaceful protest on Thursday, October 3  at 5.30 pm at Parkville, Clonmel.

The purpose of the protest is to appeal to  Coolmore stud to withdraw an application to demolish a farm courtyard at Parkville and to undertake to retain the ancient hedgerows, limekiln, walled garden, trees, and duck pond on this 65-acre farm that was re cently acquired.

” Our group has reason to believe that the hedgerows and landscape features are at imminent risk of removal, and the farm buildings in due course if permission is granted by Tipperary County Council,” said a Hedgerows Ireland spokesperson.
