He also appeared in the Netflix series Narcos and is now gaining recognition for his portrayal of much-loved Gomez Addams.

He’s currently filming the highly anticipated second season of Netflix’s hit show Wednesday at Ardmore and Ashford Studios in Wicklow, alongside Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Steve Buscemi.

The star visited a new restaurant venture in Dublin, which previously made headlines as its maître d’ is Mateo Saina, known for his appearances on First Dates Ireland.

Ian’s Kitchen in Kimmage is now a partnership between Mateo Saina and Michelin-starred chef Ian Ussher.

The restaurant reopened for this new chapter of Ian’s Kitchen in August, and they shared a picture of Guzmán visiting on Sunday.

The picture, posted on Instagram, was captioned:

“That’s a wrap for this week guys & what a way to finish our busiest week so far with the amazingly talented Luis Guzmán coming in for food,” they said.

“We are BACK OPEN TOMORROW (you heard that right) from 9:30am, and then it’s full steam ahead as a 7-day operation (for now). @mateo_saina loves working us to the bone.”

Production for the second season of Netflix’s Wednesday in Ireland began in early May.

The show has relocated from Romania to Ireland for this latest season, with filming starting in early May.

One of the world’s most famous directors, Tim Burton—known for Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice—will return as the series director.

Jenna Ortega, who plays the leading role in the series, was also spotted attending Chappell Roan’s concert at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on Dame Street last week.

Ortega recently played Astrid Deetz in the long-awaited sequel to Beetlejuice, which premiered on September 6.

Other Wednesday stars have also been seen out and about in the Dublin area, including Reservoir Dogs star Steve Buscemi, who joins the cast this season.

He is set to debut as Barry Dort, the new principal of Nevermore Academy.

On August 31, the 66-year-old actor—best known for his roles in films such as Armageddon and The Big Lebowski—was spotted dining at Bubba’s Fish Market in South Dublin.

He later intervened following a fight that broke out outside The Dalkey Duck pub in Dalkey.

Wednesday is Netflix’s most popular English-language series, amassing 252.10 million views for season one. The series has spent 20 weeks in the global top 10 and has been in the top 10 in 93 countries.
