Within the Armagh story, which is one of perseverance and defiance, other tales weaved their way into the fabric of their 2024 season.

And the extraordinary dignity shown by Niall Grimley, who spoke so eloquently about the tragic passing of his brother and sister-in-law less than nine months ago. The O’Neill boys lost their uncle in the wake of the Kerry game. Kieran McGeeney also lost an uncle and saw his son, Cian, hospitalised.
