Ireland have made three changes for tonight’s Nations League encounter with Greece with Andrew Omobamidele, Jason Knight and Alan Browne coming into the starting team

Seamus Coleman misses out through injury, with Matt Doherty and Adam Idah dropped to the bench. The exclusion of the latter means that Ireland are effectively bringing in an extra midfielder to replace a striker.

If Ireland remain in the same system, Omobamidele would replace Coleman on the right of the three, with Browne a contender for right wing back although Jason Knight and Chiedozie Ogbene can also play there.

However it looks more feasible that Ogbene will offer support to Sammie Szmodics in attack, with the English-born attacker moved into a central role.

Ireland: Kelleher, Omobamidele, Collins, O’Shea; Browne, Knight, Molumby, Smallbone, Brady; Ogbene, Szmodics
