Tell us about you and your collection
I am from Dublin, I started fashion in Colásite Dhúlaigh five years ago before coming to London to join the Jimmy Choo Academy. Through my time at JCA, I have started my brand, Demi O’Shea and I’m excited to officially present my first collection.

Throughout my collection, my designs have been inspired by mental health themes, while also promoting emotional wellbeing through fashion. I have sourced premium fabrics that utilise high-quality materials such as cotton twill, neoprene, cotton satin and geodine for comfort and durability. While designing my collection, I used a vibrant colour palette featuring bold hues such as royal blue, fiery red, bright whites and hints of pink to give it a lively aesthetic.

I have 3D-printed accessories that are made from PLA filament in white, royal blue, and red, enhancing each outfit’s uniqueness. My collection has a sustainable focus and emphasises eco-friendly practices and biodegradable materials, aligning with my brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

What is your mission?
My mission is to empower individuals by promoting well-being and mental health through personalised, bespoke garments and innovative accessories, fostering a unique and meaningful connection with each client.

Did you always know you wanted to be a designer?
Yes, I’ve known I wanted to design ever since I was a child. My grandparents gifted me paper dolls and I didn’t like the clothing in the packets so I was inspired to create my own.

What kind of pieces do you specialise in?
I specialise in bespoke fashion apparel and accessories. I  design everything with a focus on personalisation, high-quality fabrics, and sustainable practices.
