(WJAR) — Dublin Rose in Seekonk announced on its social media page that it will be closing its doors in September after 11 years.
“This decision comes due to future redevelopment plans for the surrounding area, including a new grocery store where we are currently located,” pub officials wrote in a Facebook post. “We have cherished the opportunity to host countless gatherings, celebrations, and unforgettable moments with our patrons over the years. It has been a privilege to be part of the Seekonk community.”
Dublin Rose officials announced that it will be having a farewell party on Aug. 23 to thank the community.
The special event will have live music by the MLC Band, the first band to perform live at Dublin Rose in 2013, officials said.
