In July 2003, Bell X1 released Music in Mouth, the band’s second LP. Produced in England’s Surrey with producer Jamie Cullum, it features some of the more recognisable tracks by the alt-rock group from the Kildare/Dublin border – songs such as Alphabet Soup and Eve, The Apple of My Eye.

Music in Mouth, went double platinum in Ireland, with the Irish Independent calling it the fourth-best Irish album of the 2000s and the 30th best ever.
