When he crosses the finish line of the Dublin Marathon on October 27, Mark Conlon will not stop. In fact, he’ll be only halfway through his day’s journey.

The Dublin Marathon won’t even be the first marathon Mr Conlon (41) will have run that day. In an amazing feat of perseverance, Mr Conlon is planning on running four marathons in the one day, with Dublin being the second ­after an early morning start for the first.
