Wayne Quillinan on the Kerry players: ‘They’re showcasing their talent, but not only their footballing talent, but their footballing brain, which, in most cases, is more important’

Wayne Quillinan will prepare the Kerry minors for an All-Ireland Minor Football Championship semi-final against Derry following their quarter-final win over Roscommon

The way that Kerry adjusted to having to play against the strong breeze in the first half was one of the things that pleased manager Wayne Quillinan the most on Saturday evening as the Kingdom departed Ennis with an excellent 18-point destruction of Roscommon in their All-Ireland Minor Football Championship quarter-final.

Another was the hugely impressive win in itself, fashioned by another excellent collective performance from a group of players Quillinan remains extremely proud of.
