Since he was a key component of Kerry’s All-Ireland victory in 2022, Brian Ó Beaglaoich hasn’t enjoyed the best of luck. A long-standing and persistent calf injury, added to hamstring issues, have led to a frustrating time for the An Ghaeltacht defender.

His only championship appearances last year for the Kingdom came off the bench, and when he again missed out on several National League outings in 2024 due to further periods on the treatment table, it appeared that luck was not on his side once more.
