Carton House, a Fairmont Managed Hotel, has announced that Irish golf star, and Ladies European Tour player, Lauren Walsh, has signed as their official touring professional.
Carton House, which hosts to this year’s KPMG Women’s Irish Open, offer two championship golf courses, the O’Meara Course and Montgomerie Course designed by Mark O’Meara and Colin Montgomerie, respectively.
The KPMG Women’s Irish Open will take place from 29 August to 1 September 2024 on the magnificent O’Meara parkland course.
Lauren Walsh had a successful amateur career which included winning the 2023 NCAA National Golf Championship with her collegiate team, Wake Forest before she turned professional in the summer of 2023.
Her partnership with Carton House, a Fairmont Managed Hotel, who were hosts to the 2018 World Team Championship, gives her the benefits of their world-class practice facilities and championship golf courses.
