Molly Smith and Tom Clare paired up as the show was airing and won the show on February 19.
Love Island All Stars is a spin-off of the original Love Island series featuring contestants of past series.
Maya Jama had returned as the presenter of the show.
The pair, who are one of the few couples still together after the show ended, revealed they both have Irish grandparents.
The couple revealed that both their maternal grandfathers were from Ireland. Molly’s grandfather hails from Dundalk, Co Louth, while Tom’s grandfather was born in Kilkenny.
“My middle name is Patrick,” Tom told the Irish Independent.
Asked about whether they had noticed their grandfather’s Irish accent, Molly said that it was difficult to remember as she was so young.
“I know he was loud and buoyant. It’s hard to realise because you grow up so young around it. I wish it had travelled down to me,” she said.
“This is both of our first times in Ireland and we’ve loved it so far. We’ve never tried Guinness so we’re excited to see what it’s like. I was told it was better to have it here,” she said.
The pair have since left Ireland but have said they plan to return to do a “proper tour of the country and see where our families are from”.
Tom noted that visiting Kilkenny “will be great for Instagram”.
The couple also recently revealed that they have bought their first home together just six months after they began dating. Molly shared the news with her 1.7 m followers on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Home is where the heart is – We’ve officially bought our first home. We couldn’t be happier,” she wrote.
The news comes four weeks after Tom revealed his plans to propose to Smith.
He told the Irish Sun that he was sure he “would marry that girl” and that he told her he “wants to spend the rest of his life with her”.
Molly previously featured on Love Island 2020 and left the show with Callum Jones. The two had been in a three-year long relationship before they separated.
Macclesfield football player Tom previously came in third place on the second winter edition of Love Island which aired in 2023.
Their All Star win saw them beating Smith’s ex-boyfriend Callum Jones and Jessica Gale. They became the runner ups of the season.
Molly and Tom are in Dublin to promote the arrival of Virgin Media’s new streaming service mobile app, Virgin Media Play, due to launch on September 2.
A large variety of television shows will be available live or on demand free of charge on mobile devices via the Virgin Media Play phone application.
The streaming service will offer a selection of dramas, unmissable live sport and reality box sets including the drama The Arrangement and reality juggernauts such as Below Deck Mediterranean, Million Dollar Listing, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules.
