A male pedestrian (50s) has died after being struck by a lorry in Dublin city centre this afternoon.

Gardaí and emergency services responded to the incident at the junction of Arran Quay and Church Street shortly after 3pm this afternoon.

The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
