A man in his 30s has been arrested at Dublin Airport on Monday after a flight was diverted to the airport due to a disruptive passenger.
The man was arrested by Gardaí at the airport today after the flight, on its way to New York from Amsterdam, was diverted due to a passenger causing disruption aboard the United Airlines flight.
“Earlier today a United Airlines flight from Amsterdam to New York was diverted to Dublin Airport due to a disruptive passenger on board,” a garda spokesperson said.
“Garda from Dublin Airport boarded the aircraft and arrested a man in his 30’s. The man has since been charged with an offence under the Air Navigation and Transport Act and will appear in custody at Dublin District Court CCJ at 4.30pm,” the spokesperson said.
