A man has been charged in relation to a fatal hit-and-run incident in Dublin on 26 December in which a husband and wife were killed.
The man, who is in his 40s, is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice District Court tomorrow morning.
Gardaí have said that a second individual, a female, has also been arrested and is being detained at a garda station in Dublin.
Anthony Hogg, 40, and his 39-year-old wife Georgina Hogg Moore, were struck by a vehicle in Blanchardstown at around 5.45pm on St Stephen’s Day.
Ms Hogg Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. Her husband was seriously injured and later died at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.
It is understood the couple had two children.
Four pedestrians were involved in the incident, but no other injuries were reported.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal to any witnesses, particularly any road users or pedestrians who were in the vicinity of Blanchardstown Road North, between 5pm and 6pm on Thursday 26 December and have camera footage (including dash-cam) to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station at 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
