Masters Track National Championships Preview
The 2024 track season comes to a close this Saturday, 21st
of September as the Masters Track National Championships takes place at
Sundrive Velodrome in Dublin.
It is sure to be an intense day’s racing, which will see Ian
Cassidy, winner of multiple titles in the M40 category in 2023 step into the
M50 class and look to continue his form there.
Colm Sevastopulo will feature in the M40 category and look
to add to the Sevastopulo family’s 2024 success, which has seen Vicky, Oscar
and George all take national titles on the track, with George and Oscar also winning criterium national titles on the road.
Sundrive’s Sean Curtis will also hope to replicate the
success he had in 2023 in the M50 races, while one of the dominant performers
from last year’s M60 races in Eddie Lynch will not be competing this year.
