Today marks one year since what has been described as the most violent riots in modern history on the capitol.

More than 40 people have been identified as ‘persons of interest’ in relation to the Dublin riots.

Today marks one year since what has been described as one of the most violent riots in modern history in the capitol.

The night of unrest began at around 6pm when demonstrators started throwing fireworks, flares and bottles at Gardaí, following a knife attack outside a school on Parnell Square.

This week Gardai released images of 99 people they wanted to speak to in relation to the riots.
